How the story began

Memorioso nació de un perrito adoptado de un refugio de animales, pero en el cuento es un sato rescatado del río Chicago una mañana de invierno. Esta historia se escribió para conservar su memoria y para honrar a todos los animales que encuentran una segunda vida.

Memorioso began with a dog adopted from an animal shelter, but in the story he is a scruffy mutt pulled from the Chicago River one winter morning. This story was written to keep his memory alive and to honor every animal who finds a second life.
